If you are like me, then you have at least once found yourself struggling with Reliability & Maintenance(R&M) in a plant. Whether you are trying to implement planning & scheduling, manage spare parts or develop effective PMs, it can be frustrating. Not to mention how difficult it is to tie all of the different pieces together and making it stick.
The intention of this blog and website is to provide information on not only the different parts of a R&M program, but how they all tie together. This is what separates the profitable manufacturers from the ones that close. Preventing these closures is what Eruditio, LLC and myself want to do.
So who is Eruditio, LLC? Eruditio, LLC was found by James Kovacevic in February 2015, with the mission of bringing profitability to manufacturers, ensuring jobs and prosperous communities. This mission came about as I personally have been affected by plant closures, in addition to my community. You can find out more about us here.
In order to have vibrant and prosperous communities, there needs to be good paying jobs for the majority of the community. This is why profitable manufacturing is so important. Moving forward, this is what you can expect from Eruditio, LLC;
- At a minimum, a weekly blog post, that will discuss one portion of our Eruditio, LLC Model (HPRM), the implementation of it, or common issues in R&M.
- I will be continuously adding the details of the various components of the model. This will include the processes, best practices, must do’s and KPIs. These will all be made available to you.
- As time progresses, I will begin to develop and offer tools and training for the various components or topics in the framework.
To ensure that I provide maximum value to you, it would be greatly appreciated, if you could let me know what your burning issues are , or topics you want to discuss by either commenting below or by clicking here. Also, I highly encourage you to ask questions, comment and generate healthy discussion on the posts. I will try to respond to as many comments as possible. If you want the latest updates delivered direct to your inbox, sign up here. I promise there will be no spam.
Remember, to find success, you must first solve the problem, then achieve the implementation of the solution, and finally sustain winning results. So what is your biggest barrier in your Reliability & Maintenance program? What can I do to help?
